Quality & Testing

Quality Management System

Quality is embedded in every stage of production — not declared, but demonstrated. EBRA’s quality approach is built on three core principles: complete testing, full traceability, and total product accountability, from raw material intake to final delivery.

Integrated Management System

EBRA operates under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards across both insulator and hardware plants. A unified system ensures consistent procedures, shared audits and aligned corrective actions, enabling certification of complete insulator–hardware assemblies.

Full Traceability

All materials, processes and finished products are tracked through an integrated ERP system. Each unit is fully traceable throughout its lifecycle, including raw material batches, production parameters and final inspection data.

Operational Excellence

Quality performance is continuously monitored through key indicators:

  • Customer satisfaction and field performance
  • On-time delivery
  • Production and customer-end rejection rates
  • Continuous employee training

Testing Infrastructure

Long-term performance requires long-term validation. EBRA invests in advanced testing to ensure products perform reliably over decades, not just under initial sample conditions.

In-House Laboratory Capability

Testing scope includes:

  • Chemical analysis (silicone compounds, metal spectrometry, raw materials)
  • Mechanical testing (tensile, compression, cantilever, torsion)
  • Charpy impact testing machine
  • Tracking resistance testing machine
  • Dielectric testing machine
  • Hardness testing machine
  • Silicone contact angle measuring device
  • Dye penetration test
  • Water diffusion test

Accredited Third-Party Testing

For type and qualification tests, EBRA collaborates with internationally accredited laboratories under ISO/IEC 17025, including:

  • KEMA
  • CESI
  • STRI
  • VEIKI-VNL
  • ICMET
  • EGU – HV
